Four little words. They’ve gotten me through a lot of hard times, especially the ignorance of my 20’s.

I wrote this Insight (blog) several weeks ago, before the destructive hurricanes in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, the earthquakes in Mexico and the massive fires in California that have destroyed thousands of homes.

It’s my heart’s intention that today’s article brings peace to you, if you find yourself struggling with the all that’s going on in the world or something personal in your own life.

I still love those four little words…This too shall pass. They help me remember the truth – EVERYTHING IS GOING TO PASS, EVENTUALLY. . .

Stop seeking answers. Do THIS instead!

Stop seeking answers. Do THIS instead!

Let’s face it. The world is going through difficult times. You may be even dealing with your own personal difficulty.

In today’s INSIGHT, I offer a perspective to hopefully ease inner resistance that can cause suffering. You know the saying, “What we resist, persists”!

I didn’t want to write about this topic today.

My self-talk went something like this… “You should write something more uplifting. Something to inspire people!”

My SOUL’s response was…

“What if this is exactly what is needed?”

So, here goes… We’ve all known hard times. No one gets through life without them. Heck, even the richest of the richest can’t stop hurricanes, or sometimes even their own bankruptcy.

Today’s message is really about what to do when nothing works.

What a medical emergency taught me about CHOICES!

What a medical emergency taught me about CHOICES!

Perspectives. Choices. They affect us daily.

Sometimes our perspectives make us feel as though we are on top of the world and like nothing could get us down ever again. Other days? Well, we just can’t seem to get out of bed or do what’s before us.

Your perspective can show you useful past conditioning and help you make the empowering choices. At other times, your conditioned perspectives can be maladaptive and “appear” to take away any chance of choice. But, you can still make a choice.

“What’s this about, and can I get past my reaction?”, we ask ourselves!

Have you ever asked yourself this question?

I got caught in a lie!

I got caught in a lie!

It could have been wrecked my day. It wasn’t a life or death sort of thing, but if I had believed it, it certainly could have robbed me of my Being-ness, my happiness and of my productivity. And, if I continued it as a habit, it could rob me of my fulfillment and purpose.

Does this ever happen to you?

You’re running behind schedule and you say to yourself, “I don’t have time to meditate right now!”. . .

Why is this happening to me AGAIN?

Why is this happening to me AGAIN?

Ever said this to your self?. . .

“I’ve spent years working on this issue. I thought I’d already healed this!”

People have said to me:
• I’ve TAPPED until my acupuncture points were raw.
• I’ve sat in SILENCE for 10 days straight without a word to anyone, giving up Facebook and my smartphone.
• I’ve spent YEARS in therapy!
• I’ve been to a sweat lodge.
• I thought I was OVER this issue!

Why is this problem is back again, LaRue?!

You have no idea how many times people have asked me that question. Do you relate? Know of someone who does?

If so, I have an answer for you and it may not be what you think!
